Bailee Elizabeth Rushing

Bailee Elizabeth Rushing, age 5 of Bessemer City, went to Heaven Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Novant Presbyterian Medical Center.  She was born December 18, 2017 in Gaston County, the daughter of Cameron and Chelsea Carpenter Rushing.  Bailee was the most cuddly and loveable little girl.  She loved her Rainstick and crinkle sounds. Bailee also loved swinging and had the sweetest personality. Her favorite sound was the one of her brother playing, especially with his racecars. 

Bailee leaves behind a host of family who will forever cherish her memory including her parents, Cameron and Chelsea Rushing; big brother, Braxton Rushing; grandparents, Sharon and Dale Abernathy, Danny and Deanna Rushing, Lee and Lori Carpenter; great grandparents, Joe and Helen Rudisill, Mervin and Carlene Carpenter, Edd Rushing, John and Brenda Williamson; uncles and aunts, Brett and Melissa Rushing, Adam Rushing, Haley and Christian Rogers; cousins, Ava, Chloe, and Sadie Rushing; and numerous other extended family.  She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Annette Rushing and Ann Rudisill.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services.

A private graveside service will be held at Rudisill Family Cemetery officiated by Rev. Nic Rushing.
