Benjamin Homesley

Benjamin Stephen Homesley, “Rabbit Man,” age 69 of Mary’s Grove Rd. passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Robin Johnson Hospice House.  He was born October 28, 1949 in Cleveland County to Thelma Helton Homesley and the late Benjamin Stephen Homesley.  He was an avid fisherman, and loved hunting, especially rabbit hunting.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Jeffrey Paul Homesley; brother, Gary Homesley; sisters, Janet Ridaught , Betty Johnson and husband, Greg, and Lori Archibald and husband, Mark; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Leonard Bumgardner officiating.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 to 2:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.  A private graveside will be held at a later date at St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
