Betty Price

Betty Louise Mauney Price, age 91, of Lincolnton, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023, at her son’s residence in Pensacola, Florida. She was born February 15, 1932 in Gaston County to the late Bill and Beulah Metcalf Mauney.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her siblings, Carl Mauney, Lois Mauney Neill, Robert Mauney, Thelma Mauney Propst, James Mauney, Ava Mauney Anthony, and Myrtle Mauney Clark.

She is survived by her sons; Dana Chapman, and Maurice Chapman (Melinda); daughter, Melita Chapman Colombi (Jean Louis); grandchildren, Jon Shuford, Ryan Shuford, Sara Chapman Johnson, Bobbie Sue Chapman Holden, Cody Chapman, Anais Colombi Helms, and Izabella Meroney; and 11 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Bill Lowe officiating.
