Carolyn Dellinger

Carolyn Margaret Hull Dellinger, age 82 of Cherryville passed away Monday, October 24, 2022 at The Greens in Lincolnton.  She was born July 15, 1940 in Lincoln County to the late Ray and Inez Leatherman Hull.  She was a member of First Baptist Church.  Carolyn enjoyed working in the gardens with her flowers and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Dellinger.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Deborah Dellinger; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and David Bame; brothers, Gary Hull and Jim Hull; sisters, Betty Vickers, Freda Maynor, Pat Bost, and Libby Pritchard; grandchildren, Johnathan Dellinger, Karen Brown (Jordan), Timothy Bame, Erica Paige McDonald (Ryan), and Alex Cash (Grace); and great grandchildren, Khloe, Kaidence, Wynter, and Serenity.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 12:00 PM at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Vince Hefner officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 11:45 AM prior to the service at First Baptist Church.
