Clyne Paul Clark, age 85 of Puetts Chapel Rd. passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at his residence. He was born February 21, 1933 in Gaston County to the late Max Sylvanus and Ruth Pasour Clark. Clyne was a retired supervisor from Plantation Pipeline. He was a member of First Assembly of God and a volunteer firefighter with Agriculture Center, Dallas. He enjoyed being outdoors and chopping wood. Clyne also loved gardening and always shared his crops with others.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Max, Glenn, Roy, Eva, and Helen Faye Clark.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 64 years, Peggy Pepper Clark; children, Jeffrey Paul Clark and wife, Cathy of Leesville, SC, Cynthia Diane Clark of Bessemer City, and Sharon Clark Thornburg and husband, Robert of Bessemer City; grandchildren, Chris, Brian, and Joshua Clark, Nicholas and Ashley Sellers, Jamie Thornburg, and Allyson Cunningham; and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 4:00 PM at First Assembly of God with Pastors Dennis Boyce and Lamar Creel officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 3:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
Burial will follow at Antioch Lutheran Church Cemetery.
