Danny Seate

Danny Ray Seate, age 49 of North Dr. passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born January 2, 1969 in Lincoln County to the late Ollie Ray and Bernice Anthony Seate. Danny was employed for over 20 years with Keystone in Cherryville and then retired from Gaston County Sheriff's Department. He enjoyed going to the movies with his grandson and watching the races on Sunday.

In addition to his parents, Ollie and Bernice Seate, he was preceded in death by his nephew, William Ray "Rudy" Seate.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Mae Seate; children, Stacey Avelizapa and husband, Victor of Cherryville and Christopher Donaldson and wife, Savannah of Grover; grandchildren, Carlos Avelizapa, Luis Avelizapa, Tyler Donaldson, Neveah Donaldson, Chloe Donaldson, and Christian Donaldson; brothers, William Seate and Patricia of Bessemer City and David Seate and Connie of Cherryville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Leonard Bumgardner officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 to 2:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Honors by Gaston County Sheriff's Department.
