Emil Fields

Damon Emil Fields, age 39, of Westgate Drive, passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2022 at his residence. He was born November 5, 1982 in New Hanover County to Brian Fields and the late Carole Putnam Fields.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carole Putnam Fields.

Survivors include his father, Brian Fields of Wilmington, NC; sister, Kim Bivins (Ray) of Lawndale; brothers, Scott Carpenter, Deaver Carpenter both of Shelby, and Chris Carpenter (Shelby) of Kernersville; and special friend, Polly Metcalf.

No formal services are scheduled at the time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gaston County Animal Shelter.
