James Goode

James Lewis "Jamie" Goode, age 52, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. Jamie was born June 18, 1964 in Lincoln County to the late James Allen and Lillian Frances Abernathy Goode. He was employed at Gatza Marble as a sander. Jamie enjoyed fishing, knitting, watching NASCAR and playing poker.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister, Lisa Moody and brothers, Michael, Brian and Jerry Goode.

He is survived by siblings, Ronald and Diane Abernathy of Cherryville and Barbara Brackett of Lincolnton.

Services will be held at a later date at the family's home.
