James Kempfer

James David "Jim" Kempfer, 75, of Pink St. passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at his residence. He was born June 25, 1942 in Madison, Wisconsin to the late Gilman and Ruth Opheim Kempfer. Jim was a retired sales associate of Walmart and formerly a computer specialist for Carolina Freight. He was a Vietnam Veteran and member of American Legion Post #100 and the North American Hunting Club. He enjoyed walking, traveling and spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his son, Mark Kempfer and wife, Chris of Sun Prairie, WI; sister, Gail Larson of DeForest, WI; brother, Tom Kempfer of LakeMills, WI; and granddaughter, Alyssa Rose Kempfer of Sun Prairie, WI.

Services will be held at a later date in Wisconsin.
