Jorge Luis Torres-Díaz, de 85 años, de Fieldcrest Circle, Rock Hill SC, falleció el Jueves  26 de Diciembre de 2019 en su residencia.

Nacido el 23 de abril de 1934 en Ecuador, Jorge fue hijo de Juan Torres y Emilia Paulina Díaz. Jorge se jubiló de la compañía Sediver Inc. Él fue miembro de la Iglesia de Dios Nueva Vida en Charlotte. Él disfrutaba jugar futbol de joven, y también ver las carreras de caballos.

Además de sus padres, le preceden en muerte sus hermanos Julio Torres, Juan Torres, Guillermo Torres, Alfredo Torres, y Gloria Álvarez

Le sobreviven su esposa, Margarita Bastidas de Torres; sus hijos Jimmy Elias Torres, Jorge Luis Torres, y David Jonathan Torres; sus hijas Miriam Margarita T. Acevedo, Katherine Ruth T. Waller, Mariela Estefanía T. Hernández, y María de los Ángeles Torres. Nietos Jimmy Torres, Roger Torres, Cristian Torres, Kevin Torres, Josué Torres, David Josué Torres, Enrique Sánchez, David Andrew Torres, Caleb David Torres, Isaac Hernández; nietas Danielle Acevedo, Rebecca Acevedo, Ibeth Torres, Corín Torres, Rachel Torres, Raphi Torres, Hannah Waller, Emily Hernández. Bisnietos Austin, Ángel, Selina, Cristian Elias, Cristian Eliel, Areliz, Angelina, y Bradley Ryan. Sus hermanos Hugo Torres, Olmedo Torres, Galo Torres, y Olga Torres.

La familia recibirá amigos el Domingo 29 de Diciembre de 2019 de 4pm a 6pm en la Iglesia Mt.Gallant Church of God. 1107 Mt. Gallant Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.

El servicio Funeral tendrá lugar el Lunes 30 de Diciembre de 2019 a las 12pm en la iglesia Mt.Gallant Church of God; seguido por el funeral en el Cementerio Forest Hill de la ciudad de Rock Hill.

Jorge Luis Torres-Diaz, age 85 of Fieldcrest Circle, in Rock Hill, SC passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019 at his residence.  He was born April 23, 1934 in Ecuador to the late Juan Torres and Emilia Paulina Diaz.  Jorge was retired from Sediver, Inc.  He was a member of Iglesia de Dios Nueva Vida in Charlotte.  He enjoyed playing soccer in his younger days and loved to watch horseracing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Julio Torres, Juan Torres, Guillermo Torres, Alfredo Torres, and Gloria Alvarez.

Survivors include his wife, Margarita Bastidas de Torres; sons, Jimmy Elias Torres, Jorge Luis Torres, and David Jonathan Torres; daughters, Miriam T. Acevedo, Katherine T. Waller, Mariela T. Hernandez, and Maria de los Angeles Torres; siblings, Hugo Torres, Olmedo Torres, Galo Torres, and Olga Torres; grandchildren, Corin Torres, Ibeth Torres, Rachel Torres,  Raphi Torres, Christian Torres, Josue Torres, Roger Torres, Kevin Torres, Jimmy Torres, David Torres, Andrew Torres, Caleb Torres, Enrique Sanchez, Hannah Waller, Issac Hernandez, Emily Hernandez, Rebecca Acevedo, and Danielle Acevedo; and great grandchildren, Austin, Angel, Seline, and Christian.

His family will receive friends from 4 to 6pm Sunday December 29, 2019 at Mt. Gallant Church of God 1107 Mt. Gallant Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.

The Funeral Service will be held at 12pm noon Monday December 30, 2019 at Mt. Gallant Church of God

Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Rock Hill, SC.
