Judy Beal

Judy Black Beal, age 67, of 1220 Tot Dellinger Road, died April 19, 2013 at Carolina Medical Center Charlotte. She was born in Gaston County, January 13, 1946 a daughter of John Lee Black of Cherryville and the late Dollie Reynolds Black.

Judy was a faithful and longtime member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she diligently served as secretary for 25 years and a Sunday School teacher. Her job was her mission work. She was a friend to all and adored all of her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors in addition to her father include her husband of 32 years Billy Frank Beal, children Tonja Moss (Ronnie) of Loudin, TN, Shasta Beal of Concord, Mechelle Price (Darby) of Lincolnton, Chad Williamson of Cherryville and Billy Beal, II (Blair) of Landis, eight grandchildren Nikki Martinez, Alan Ramsey, Shana Price, Travis Cash, Lanie Cash, Chandler Price, Tyler Price, and Tristin Beal, three great grandchildren, a sister Sue Tallent of Lincolnton and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church April 21, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Wayne Key officiating. Burial will follow the visitation. The family will receive friends following the service in the church Fellowship Hall.
