Liam Ryker Murray, age 3, died Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Shelby. He was born September 15, 2013 in Cleveland County to Nelson Elijah Stephens of Mooresboro and Stevie Celeste Murray of Kings Mountain. Liam attended Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church and loved Batman.

He is preceded in death by great grandmother, Geraldine Stewart and great grandfather, George Leigh.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother, John Christopher Beason; grandparents, Paw Paw Shannon Murray and Grandma Hope of Kings Mountain, Granny Barbara Leigh, Meme Sunshine Murray, Nana Tana Aldridge and Pawpaw Jimmy all of Shelby, Greg Albea of Shelby and Claudia Stephens of Forest City; aunt and uncles, Stone Murray, Courtney Aldridge, Michael Stewart, Cassidy Beaver, Jaycie and Hunter Wilson, Ragin Brooks and Makinley Albea and numerous other loving relatives.

Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 8:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services. Rev. Bobby Holtsclaw and Chaplain Tim Cochran will be officiating. Burial will be private. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM at the funeral home and other times at 224 Walker St. Kings Mountain, NC.

Memorials may be made to Hometrust Bank, 224 E Warren St, Shelby, NC 28150.
