Matt Frady

Matthew “Matt” Seth Frady, 24, of Cherryville died June 5, 2020 in Lincoln County.  Matt was born on September 29, 1995 in Mecklenburg County to William Greg and Jennifer Elaine Thomas Frady of Manteo, NC.  Matt was an auto mechanic. He enjoyed playing the guitar and anything to do with music.  He loved "beautiful cars and fast women." Matt liked fishing and was always outdoors.  His heart was too big for this world and he will be missed greatly by those who loved him.

Matt was preceded in death by his uncle, Jeff Thomas.

In addition to his parents, Greg and Jennifer Frady, he is survived by his brothers, Wesley Defay Frady, Kolton Rian Frady, and Vinnie Sain (Kristen); grandparents, David and Linda Frady, Deanie Thomas, and Greg Schafer; uncle and aunt, Nathan and Emily Frady; nephew, Chance Malachi Frady; niece, Abilene Sain; and cousin, Ecco Frady.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Leonard Bumgardner officiating.
