Maxine Ferrell

Maxine Evelyn Reynolds Ferrell, age 59, of 2413 Hwy 274 died May 6, 2013 at Hospice Wendover. She was born in Lincoln County, April 18 1954 a daughter of the late Joe Reynolds and Lena Black Reynolds Penley of Cherryville. Maxine was a waitress at Carolina Restaurant. In additions to her father she was preceded in death by a brother Ricky Dale Reynolds.

Survivors include her husband Charles Ferrell of the home, two sons Robert Young and wife Chastity of Cherryville, Donald Young and wife Holly of Lincolnton, four grandchildren Joshua Young, Braxton Young, Chloe Young, Ava Young, two brothers Johnny Reynolds and wife Shelia of Shelby, Walter Reynolds and wife Jackie of Lake Norman, one sister Patricia Mellon and husband Rick of Shelby two step-sons Richard Ferrell and Derek Ferrell both of Dallas.

Funeral Services will be held May 9, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church with Bobby Holtsclaw officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, Wednesday May 8, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
