Sally Hooper

Sally Robena Pruitt Hooper, age 77 of Academy St. passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center Lincolnton. She was born November 13, 1940 in Greenville, SC to the late John B. and Dolly M. Pruitt. Sally was a member of Cherryville Church of God and enjoyed reading and writing poems.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Dean Hooper; daughter, Lorrie Hooper; and siblings, James William Edge and Beaulah Mae Teague.

She is survived by her siblings, Joyce Rhyne of Flat Rock, Roy Dale Teague of Spartanburg, Wanda Foster of Boiling Springs, Jimmy Edge of Lexington; and nieces, Susan Hicks and husband, Steve and Vanessa Rawling.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 12:30 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services. Burial will follow at City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30 AM until 12:15 PM at the funeral home.
