Terry Baker

Terry James Baker, age 52 of 505 North Mulberry Street, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 in Gaston Memorial Hospital. Terry was born February 11, 1960, in Cleveland County, the son of the late James Baker and Nell Wells Baker. He was employed at Pat's Drive-In as a cook.

His family that survivors him: Wife: Debbie Dellinger Baker of the home, two (2) Sons: James Terry Baker and Joshua Ray Baker, both of Cherryville, Two (2) daughters and a son in law: Mary Nell Absher and husband George of Waco, Terri Baker of Cherryville. Three (3) brothers: Wayne Hyder, Mac Hyder andSteve Hyder, all of Shelby, Two (2) sisters: Tina Jones of Cherryville, and Kathy Allison of South Carolina. Six (6) Grandchildren

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday in Cone Memorial Chapel of Carpenter's Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Bean officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 10:45AM prior to the memorial service. Burial will be at a later date.
