Yesenia Linares

Yesenia Jimenez Linares, age 21 of Moss Trail passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017. She was born December 9, 1995 in Morelia, Mexico to Faviola Linares and the late Artemio Jimenez. Yesenia attended St. Dorothy's Catholic Church in Lincolnton where she served as a catechist assistant with the Pre-K children. She graduated from Lincolnton High School in 2014 and attended CPCC where she planned to study early childhood education. Yesenia was currently employed at YMCA. She enjoyed crafting, spicy foods, and exploring in the woods barefoot being out in nature. She also enjoyed shopping, fixing her hair and was into fashion.

In addition to her mother and stepfather, Faviola Linares and Jose Martinez, she is survived by her grandparents, Jose Mario Jimenez and Yolanda Paramo of Mexico and Octavio Linares and Floriana Hernandez of Lincolnton; a brother on the way; uncle, Carlos Linares of Lincolnton; aunts, Liliana Linares of Crouse and Jacqueline Linares of Lincolnton; and a number of cousins.

Funeral Mass will be said on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Dorothy's Catholic Church in Lincolnton with Father David Miller presiding. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services.
