Norma Jean Helms

Norma Jean Helms, age 57 of Lincolnton, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.  She was born April 15, 1965 in Lincoln County to Grady Junior Helms and the late Alice Inez Mason Helms.  Norma was a very social person and loved being surrounded by friends.

Survivors include her father, Grady Helms; son, Harley Helms and wife, Christina; grandchildren, Mia and Abagail Helms; brother, Wayne Helms and wife, June; sister, Patricia Strickland; nephews, Presley Gunter and Bruce Strickland.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 23, 2022 at 7:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Ricky Sigmon officiating.  Burial will be private.  The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 6:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
